Together, we’re building something amazing.
Walden Public School has been a proud part of our community since 2009, offering both English and French Immersion programs from Kindergarten to Grade 6. As a certified green school, we’re dedicated to energy conservation, environmental stewardship, and nurturing young minds who care about the world around them.
When our school first opened, no funding was available for a play structure—and playgrounds aren’t covered by the Ministry of Education. That’s why our School Council and volunteers have been working tirelessly to change that.
Thanks to the generosity of families, local businesses, and friends of Walden, Phase 1 was completed in September 2025 just in time to welcome students back to school. Together, we raised $78,000 to bring the first half of the play structure to life and it’s already making a difference for our students.
Now, we’re launching Phase 2 and we need your help to finish what we started.
With an additional $151,000, we can complete a safe, modern, and inclusive play space where children and families can connect, grow, and play for generations to come.
Let’s build the heart of our community—one that reflects the spirit of Walden.
Let’s Keep the Momentum Going
Phase 1 is complete and thanks to our community’s generosity, the first half of our new play structure is already bringing joy to Walden’s students.
Now, we’re taking on Phase 2—the biggest and most exciting step yet.
Your support today will help us finish the main play structure and bring us one step closer to the final phase of the project.
